Born in Craddock (Norfolk County), Virginia on September 25, 1932, Buddy is survived by his loving wife Betty of Virginia Beach, VA. He retired from civil service with the Naval Air Station and was also a painting contractor.
He is also survived by two sons, Jeffrey (Tammy) of Chesapeake and Michael Powell of Virginia Beach, daughter Sandy Schmon (Rocky) of Stuarts Draft, VA, and stepson Gene Hagen (Marilee) of Raleigh, NC; one granddaughter, Sherrie Schmon of Stuarts Draft, VA and two step-grandsons, Daniel and Adam Hagen of Raleigh, NC.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 24 at 11:00am at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Parkinson Foundation.
