Michele DeJesus, 41, passed away September 30, 2011 with her family by her side. She was born on August 8, 1970 in Norfolk, and was a graduate of Lake Taylor High School. Michele was a Norview High School "Cheer Mom" and a Virginia Weslyan College "Baseball Mom", a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Formerly an office manager for Building Blocks Pre School. She is survived by her husband Hector R. DeJesus; children Alex M. DeJesus, Adriana M. DeJesus, Amanda M. DeJesus; parents Vardaman and Mary Jo Huffstickler; sister Shannon Jordan and her husband Jeremy; brother Scott Huffstickler and his wife Jody; nieces and nephews Trevor, Chloe, Austin and Emile; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and in laws. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Monday at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23502.
