Chesapeake NANCY D. HILL – A beloved Mother, Friend and Wife. Known for her humorous outlook, left us on August 9, 2010, to be with her Lord. Nancy was born in Charlottesville, Virginia and wished her age not be disclosed. She was the beloved daughter of the pre deceased Rhoda Allen & Herman Floyd Deane and leaves behind her husband Joseph H Hill, NCPO, ret.
Nancy is survived by her sister Katherine Deane and brother Herman Floyd Jr.,. Her daughters: Rhoda & husband Charles Tucker; Sharon & husband Tracy Tarr. Her sons: Arthur & partner David Johnson; and Mitchell, along with their father Arthur L Hensley.
She also leaves behind her step children: Donald Hill & partner Stacy Sanchez; Doug Hill and his wife Holly; Jessie Dahl & husband Troy, Evelynn Covert and Rebecca Brink; as well as, 9 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Wednesday August 11, from 1pm to 2pm in Woodlawn Funeral Home. A service will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, Nancy wished donations be made in honor to Animal Rescue of Tidewater, PO Box 11535, Norfolk, VA 23517 or at [email protected].
