Mrs. Nellie Wright Smyers, 87, passed away on January 14, 2009 at Sentara Village Assisted Living Center. She was the widow of Robert Charles Smyers and a follower of the Baptist faith. Surviving is her daughter, Shirley Ann Smyers of Palmyra, VA. and a son, Robert Clyde Smyers. Also eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 10 AM Saturday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, Va. Woodlawn Funeral Home 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk.
