Patricia was born in New York City, New York to Mr. Patrick and Helen Lynott.
Patricia served as a secretary at the National Cargo Bureau for over 20 years. A major accomplishment of Patricia was raising her four children as a single parent after the early passing of her husband John.
Patricia is survived by her son James Costigan; her son John Costigan; and her daughter Debbie Widgeon; 5 Grandchildren; and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband John James Costigan; her son Kevin Frances Costigan; and her parents Patrick and Helen Lynott as well as her sister, Mary Alma Maher
Special thanks to her granddaughter Erin Costigan who has served as a major caregiver to Patricia these last two years.
A public visitation for Patricia will be held on Thursday, February 16th at 9:00 AM in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home followed by a funeral service beginning at 10:00 AM.
Patricia will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 6309 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502.
