Ray Wiley, Jr., 86, passed away comfortably in his home Jan. 29, 2013. A native of Kentucky, he was the son of the late Ray Wiley, Sr. and Mattie Back Wiley. A World War II Veteran, Ray retired from the U.S. Navy after serving for more than 20 years.
He is survived by his wife Bernice Wiley; son John Wiley (Sally), daughter Terry McKenna (Fred), son Alan Wiley (Mindy); 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and sister Phyllis Conley.
A service will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, at 1pm in Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk, with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.woodlawngroup.com.
