Raymond H. McCoy,

Raymond H. McCoy, Sr., 85, passed away April 20, 2012. He is survived by his wife Gladys S. McCoy for 67 years; son, Raymond H. McCoy Jr. and wife Robin; grandson, Gary McCoy; special nieces Terri Griffin and husband Brian and Jackie Lippin and husband Scott. Raymond was a Merchant Marine with Exxon Mobile where he retired after 40 years. He was a Past Master, 60 year and Life Member of Norfolk Lodge #1 AF & AM, and member of Norfolk Scottish Rite Bodies, Norfolk Royal Arch Chapter, and Khedive Shrine Temple.

The family will receive friends 12 noon on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk and where funeral services will be conducted at 1pm following the visitation. Masonic rites will be accorded in the chapel. Interment will be in the Masonic Gardens following the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A reception following the services will be held at Norview Masonic Temple located at 1125 Hugo Street, Norfolk, Virginia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Norfolk Lodge #1 charity fund care of Masonic Temple 7001 Granby Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23505. The officiating clergy will be Rev. E. Clifton Whitlock.
