Reynaldo Delos Reyes Valencia

Reynaldo Delos Reyes Valencia, known to his family and friends as Rey, 75, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on Sunday December 11, 2022, at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. He was a retired Navy veteran. Rey was born in Candelaria, Zambales on August 3, 1947, and was the fourth eldest son to Felipe and Dolores Valencia. A graduate of St. Vincent Academy in the Philippines and he then decided to enlist in the United States Navy service in 1966 where he relocated to the USA. He then met the love of his life, Dominga Agudilla, in the Philippines and married her on March 16, 1972. They had three sons and then moved to San Diego in 1980, then later moving to Norfolk in 1981.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Dominga (Ming) Valencia; son, Allan Valencia; son, Rey Valencia (Veronique); son, Gilfred Valencia; grandchildren Devin, Emma, and Isabella; Sister-in-law Sanette (Susan) Agudilla and Babette (Beth) Agudilla and many other extended family members.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Saturday December 17 and Sunday December 18, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach BLVD Norfolk VA 23502 from 11:00am-12:00pm. A reception location will be announced at the memorial service.
