Richard Eugene Allen

Richard "Dickie" Eugene Allen, age 80, of Virginia Beach, Virginia passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025. He was born locally to the late John Richard and Mary Elizabeth Tomlin Allen. He served his country faithfully during Vietnam in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid hunter who not only loved to hunt but enjoyed the followship with other hunters. He liked the game of golf even though it didn't like him. He was a member and Past Master of the Lynnhaven Masonic Lodge, No. 220, A.F. & A.M. He also was a member of the Khedive Shiners as Past Captain of the Horse Patrol and Mini 18 Wheelers Units.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Linda Bartee Allen; son, Richard Scott Allen; daughter, Stacey Elizabeth Allen (Jonathan Dudley); granddaughter, Kyleigh Cason; brother, Randy Allen (Linda Allen) and many special nieces and nephews.

The family is inviting friends to pay respects Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 6-8pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk, VA 23502. A celebration of his life will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11am at the funeral home, following by a committal in the Memorial Gardens.
