Richard "Rick" E. Stone, 77, passed away on July 17, 2025. He was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Jack E. And Mary L. Parsons Stone. Rick proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Following his time in service, he continued serving his community working in security for the City of Virginia Beach. Rick spent a lot of time on the golf course with his dad, J.E. and then he became an avid poker player with his friend, Harry.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his cousin, Linda L. Loper (Mark); dear friends that he loved very much; Sheila, Susie Ellen and Tony; and numerous other cousins.
Rick will be laid to rest at a graveside service on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 6309 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA. Please visit his web page at www.woodlawnnorfolk.com to leave a note of condolence to the family.
