Bob served 30 years in the United States Navy, retiring as a Senior Chief. He took pride in his work and carried that sense of responsibility and discipline into the rest of his life. Our country and his family are honored by his dedication and sacrifice to defending our freedom.
Beloved husband for almost 60 years of Charo Callahan. Loving father of Susie (Scott), Dora(Mike), and Elly (Fernando). Loving grandfather (Mimo) of Fernando, Elly, Pilar, Roberto, Maria, Javier, Sarah, Emily, Savannah and Sterling.
Robert Callahan will be remembered for his service, his consistency, his love of family, and the steady presence he brought into the lives of those who knew him. He will be missed, and he will be remembered with gratitude.
Relatives and friends are invited to the service on Friday, February 6th from 10:00 – 11:00 am at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502. Burial will follow at 11 am in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
