Robert "Bob" Flora

Robert “Bob” Bernel Flora, 94, passed away on Thursday at his home in Norfolk. Bob was born in Pennsylvania to the late Harry and Laura Flora. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Dorothy Flora and his sisters, Jean and Sis. Bob retired from the US Navy and the Civil Service. Very family oriented, he loved spending time with his family. He loved his card tricks, fishing and boxed during his naval service for a hobby. He is survived by his sons, James (Judy), Bobby; daughter, Susan (Jimmy) and brother, Harry Jr. and a brother-in-law, Robert; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11am, Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Smith and Williams Norfolk Funeral Home. Burial will be immediately following the memorial service at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.smithandwilliamsnorfolk.com.
