

Born to the late Alfred Patnaude and Helen (Pomfret) Patnaude, Robert proudly served his country as a Seabee in the United States Navy. His military service reflected the strength, commitment, and work ethic that defined his life.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Patnaude and Helen (Pomfret) Patnaude; his stepfather, Donald W. Bittinger; and his sister, Sandra E. Patnaude Bulger.
He is survived by his brother, Frank Patnaude and his wife, Ann; his niece, Debra Bulger; his niece, Lisa Messier and her husband, Bob; his nephew, Frank Patnaude and his wife Kaya; and his nephew, Jay Patnaude and his wife, Gail. He is also survived by several great-nieces, great-great-nieces and nephews, all of whom brought joy to his life.
Robert shared a special bond with his beloved fur baby, Sailor Girl, who was a constant source of companionship and unconditional love.
A man who never met a stranger, Robert cherished being a member of his local Civic League and took great pride in being involved in his community. He looked forward to breakfast gatherings with friends, enjoyed long conversations with neighbors, and valued the friendships he built throughout his life. He was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand and for his genuine interest in the people around him.
Robert also had a talent for working with his hands and enjoyed rebuilding lawnmowers and fixing things that others might have given up on. He found satisfaction in bringing old machines back to life and was always ready to share his knowledge and skills with others.
Robert will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, sense of humor, and the impact he made on those fortunate enough to know him. Whether through his service to his country, his devotion to his community, or the friendships he
cultivated over the years, he touched many lives and leaves behind cherished memories that will endure for generations.
His family and friends will forever treasure the time they shared with him and find comfort in the lasting legacy of his life, service, and love.
