Norfolk, Va. Robinson Q. Mendoza , age 69, passed away March 16, 2011 at Norfolk General Hospital. He was a native of the Philippines and a proud member of the U.S. Navy for 22 years. He was a widower of Mercedes Reyes Mendoza. Surviving are 2 sons; Robert R. Mendoza and Ronald R. Mendoza both of Norfolk,Va 3 brothers; Diosdado Mendoza , Meliton Mendoza and Salvador Mendoza. 4 sisters; Erlinda, Amelita, Aida and Mildred. The family will receive friends 6pm to 8:30pm Monday, March 21 and Tuesday, March 22 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23502 and where funeral services will be held 11am Wednesday. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with full military honors provided by the U.S. Navy.
