

He was born on April 20, 1955, in Baguio City, Philippines, and was raised in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, Philippines. He was the cherished son of Teofilo Venezuela and Lourdes Estoril.
A proud graduate of the Philippines Maritime Academy, Rolando served as a Merchant Marine for 16 years, traveling the world and dedicating himself to his profession with integrity and commitment.
Rolando is survived by his loving wife, Erlinda Venezuela; his children, Errol and Erica Venezuela; and his siblings, Norma, Mercy, and Marlo. He was a devoted husband, father, and brother.
A man of deep faith, Rolando faced life’s challenges with courage and trust in Jesus. He overcame kidney disease and was a transplant recipient in 2021, inspiring all who knew him with his perseverance and unwavering hope.
Rolando cherished the simple joys of life—tending his vegetable garden, spending time with family, and caring for pets.
A viewing and visitation will be held on October 10, 2025, from 3-7 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Homes and Memorial Gardens, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk. The funeral service will take place on October 11, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the same location.
