Ruby Perry Etheridge, 84, went to be with the Lord Christmas Day. She is survived by her daughter Mary Anna Twisdale (Burt) of Virginia Beach and a sister Frances Eaton of Durham, NC. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Wilber E. Etheridge, two brothers, Lewter Perry, Sidney Perry and three sisters, Lila Heber, Isolind Eure and Grace Miller. Ruby worked for 20 years at Rices Nachmans in Norfolk and retired from Nashua Federal Savings Bank in Nashua, NH. She was a volunteer for 12 years at Sentara Leigh Hospital. She was a long time member of Kempsville Baptist Church and cherished her friends in the Outreach Class as well as her friends and neighbors at Lynnhaven Cove. A service will be held Friday, Dec. 28 at 10am in Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk, with Rev. Kelly Burris officiating.
