Ruth Bell Caldwell

Virginia Beach, VA Ruth Bell Caldwell, age 83, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 with her family and husband of 58 years, Robert, at her bedside. She was a native of Philadelphia, PA; a graduate of Overbrook High School in Philadelphia, a Navy wife, a Cubscout den mother and mostly importantly a homemaker for her family. She loved being with her family and friends, traveling, and family adventures. Survivors include, husband Robert D. Caldwell; three daughters, Marcia C. Kline Newcomb and spouse, Thomas Newcomb; Deborah J. Caldwell and partner, Gloria Feldman; Helene Caldwell Baker and spouse, Reggie Baker; one son, David B. Caldwell of Virginia Beach. Grandchildren, Lori Kline Huddleston, Kristy Kline-Pierce, Diana M. Kline, Kellie Baker, and Katie Baker; great grandchildren, Callie Joy Huddleston, Holly Huddleston and Kendal Pierce. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services which will be held 2 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, Va.
