Ruth Lois Hopkins, 82, passed away on December 13, 2025 in Wilmington, NC. Ruth was born in Camden, NJ to the late Carrington and Edna Wiltsey Carter. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, Clyde Hopkins. Leaving behind her stepchildren, Christopher Hopkins (Christine) and Sharon Greer (Christopher); grandchildren, Kayla Doherty, Chase Greer and Tilli, Maeve, and Ruby Hopkins; great-grandchildren, Clyde Doherty; and a host of other family and friends.
Family and loved ones will cherish her memory each time they see a sunflower or cardinal representing her love and kindness.
