Santiago Datuin Avillanoza, 78, passed away surrounded by family on July, 17, 2018. He was born the son of the late Zacarias Sr. and Maria Avillanoza in the Philippines. He was predeceased by siblings Benjamin, Jesus and Sostines Avillanoza, Luisa Briones, Cayetano Datuin and Jessica Jayne.
Santiago was an engineering degree graduate and retired after 14 years of service as a Lab Technician at Coopervision. He was a faithful member of St. Pius Church in Norfolk. Besides being a caring husband, father and grandfather, Santiago had a strong passion for gardening.
Santiago leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Norma Vallejo Avillanoza; two daughters, Sylvia A. Martinez and Sonia A. Santos; three sons, Juanito V., Nestor V. and Nelson V. Avillanoza; one sister, Gloria A. Cuyugan; four brothers, Abraham, Ruben, Liberato and Zacarias Jr. Avillanoza, and grandchildren, Oliver, Alvin, Vinz, Luke, Rhea, Alyssa, Ysabella, Jacob, Shawn, Sharlene, Norisa and Ronnel.
