Luke was a deep family friend and is greatly missed. My brother Bobby was his best friend and deeply hurt by his passing.

My Uncle Luke was one of the kindest people I’ve known. Although we lived on opposite sides of the country and only embraced distant interaction, he never forgot to send his yearly “Happy Mother’s Day” or “Happy Birthday” texts always showing he remembered on that special day. Through his example in always being kind to others regardless of life's challenges it provided a valuable understanding of how we have a choice. A choice to show others that kindness regardless of circumstance will grow greater in the hearts of others. A choice to live a life of lighthearted laughter will leave a memory lasting forever. A choice to gracefully turn from those that oppose instead of choosing pride which made him selfless. That’s who my Uncle Luke was. A man of honor and dignity who chose to lead his life humbly which has now paved the path for others.

Uncle Luke, the visit out here just isn’t the same knowing we aren’t visiting every gun shop in town, spending time together talking guns, cars and the pretty women along with Grandma and Mom bickering at us for our antics. I am holding it down as best as I know how and know that you are watching over us to get through this. You’ve visited me several times in my dreams as you may know and I thank you for giving me the understanding of you being healed and Poppi waiting to take you home. I will remember every lesson you have taught me throughout the years and will never doubt that you are by our sides. I love you, miss you and thank you so much for an being amazing and kind hearted person. Until my day to meet again, farewell Uncle Luke you will be missed 🙏🏻

Time has stood still… hard to imagine you’re gone… thank you baby brother for being my hero!!! You lived a morally grounded life! Your wisdom, jokes, always being there to lend a hand to anyone who was in need… solid friends who loved you… family that will be so so lost without you and who dearly loved you… you are irreplaceable!!! You have wings now… fly… little brother… fly….. you’re not alone anymore, you are with Jesus and the angels… I will miss you everyday for the rest of my life. God Bless you “St. Luke” I love you XOXO
