While I am sad about the passing of Aunt Shirley, I am happy to know that she has been reunited with my Mema, her sister, Jean. I hope they are having a grand time laughing and catching up.

Dear Wayne and Ralph,
Please accept my sincere condolences at the passing of your beloved Mother, Shirley. I have the fondest memories of her and your Dad when we were all teenagers participating in the activities at Azalea. Your Mom always treated me as if I were a part of your family and welcome me into their home each time I came back to Norfolk to visit.
Your Mom has a special place in my heart, and I hope to see her again, "when we all get to Heaven." She was such a blessing to everyone who knew her.
Love, Carol Holley Nielsen

Dear Wayne and Ralph,
Your mother was a fine Christian; she is at peace now with her Heavenly Father. I often visited her, enjoyed seeing her face light up. I last saw her a few weeks ago, kissed her check, said a prayer, and told her Jesus loves her. Her eyes opened and she said, "Yes."
I'll always remember your Dad showing a picture of Shirley when they first met, telling us how beautiful she was with bright blue eyes. I can just see your Mom and Dad together in Heaven; Dick still telling his jokes.
Shirley is at peace; God Bless, Sharon Holley Griffin
