Shirley Mae Cochrane

Shirley Mae Cochrane, 82, passed away July 24, 2012. She was born April 7, 1930 in Norfolk to the late John and Edna Evans. Shirley devoted her life to her family. She is preceded in death by her sister Norma Miller Walls, her son, William J. Cochrane, and grandson, Travis.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, James C. Cochrane (Shirley), Patricia M. Kleinhuizen (Jim), Robert J. Cochrane, and Steven M. Cochrane (Cheryl); daughter-in-law, Margaret "Peggy" Cochrane; grandchildren, Lisa (R.J.), Kim, Lindsay, Billy (Danielle), Stephanie, Joseph, Robert, Abigail, and Christy; and great-granddaughters, Marissa, Julia, and Bryanna.

The family will receive friends from 8:30-10 a.m., Monday, July 30, 2012 at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel with a service beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
