Steven (Steve) Allen Mathias passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at his home in Chesapeake, Virginia at the age of 59. He was a life long Virginia resident, born to the late Linwood and Janie Mathias. He was a hard worker who always focused on spending time with and providing for his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years, Cindy Mathias; his sons, Austin Mathias (Lauren), Ryan Mathias; his daughter, Jessica Mathias; his grandchildren, Kyla Mathias, Wyatt Mathias, Waylon Mathias; his sister, Glenda Hudgins (Gary); his nieces, Alex Jaffee-Landau (Mike), Amanda Shields (Chris), Victoria Hudgins (Brittany); and an extended family and friends.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Linwood and Janie Mathias; his mother in law, Gayle Hill Stephens; and his sister in law, Chris Jaffee.
The family will have a private Celebration of Life to honor Steve's memory as he will be dearly missed and loved always.
