Thomas Woodrow Martinette passed peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2025. Tom was born September 17, 1940 in Norfolk, Virginia. He was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Mary Martinette and his brother Michael, Jr.
Tom is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy; children, Kimberly Scott (Barry), Thomas Jr (Catherine), Kevin; grandchildren, Dr Angela Ives and Ethan Ives; and brother, Cecil(Helen).
Tom was retired from civil service in the field of electronics and was a proud member of the US Naval Air Reserve for 30 years where he served as a LCDR. In addition, he and his wife founded Professional Tax Service in 1987. He was a very talented man and could build and/or repair just about anything. He also loved to travel and had the opportunity to visit many locations worldwide. The family would like to thank Tom's palliative care physician, Dr Catherine Emerick for her care as well as Dr. Michael Fabrizio and Dr. Mark Fleming and their staffs.
