Any and every time spent with Tommy was a great one, as I'm sure many other people would say the same. It's a honor and a privilege to me to have known him. He was so much more than a friend. As we use to put it, we are family. So much love for this man. The memories will be cherished forever.

The picture I've added is from his 43rd birthday.

Gone to soon . . . a once beautiful child who brought joy and hugs to all; a fun-loving teen who got us all in trouble after a trip to Aruba; a 43 year old man coming into his own in a house left to him and sister by grandparents who wanted to give them a leg up in life when they both passed - gone, before new chapters could be written. Gone, but not the memories he left . . .

About that trip in Aruba - We took Tommy and Bonnie to Aruba to celebrate them both having turned 16. We left them with some spending money on the hotel's beach while we went in the casino for a short while. Some locals were offering hair-beading on the beach. These two decided to give them some business. Bonnie had a few strands done on one side, Tommy had to get his whole head of hair done. He kept cracking us up shaking his beads at awkward times - like seated for dinner in a nice restaurant. When we got off the plane in Norfolk, Edward wasn't happy - said he was going to take us all out to dinner, but not with his son looking like that. Tommy had to be careful shaking those beads after that. Lucy and I headed back to York County.

Tommy's sudden passing is a painful, tragic loss for those who knew and loved him, my heart goes out to all. As does the wish that his memory will be a blessing that comforts them - as it does me.
