Vanilla Elizabeth Christian

Vanilla Elizabeth Christian, 60, passed away on September 8, 2021. A Virginia Beach native, Vanilla was preceded in death by her father Thomas Christian and a brother Thomas Christian, Jr. She worked for Xerox for 36 years and attended First Baptist Church. Her passions were shopping, reading, traveling and watching movies with her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed music and cooking and decorating during the holidays. Survivors include her mother Sophia Elizabeth Christian; 2 sisters, Shirley Goodwin (husband William) and Anita Christian; 3 brothers, Paul Christian, Harrol Christian, Bob Christian (wife Natasha); nieces and nephews, Shakenna Lawrence, Lauren Christian, Ashley Christian, Justin Goodwin, Emmanuel Christian, Zachary Christian, Ryan Goodwin and Sydney Christian. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be follow at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
