Virginia W. Carter, a longtime resident of Norfolk, Virginia, passed away December 23rd in Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis C. Carter in 2006 and her daughter Pamela Bandy in 2009. She is survived by her granddaughter, Robin H. Carver and husband Robert L. Carver of Bremen, Ga; one grandson Ronnie Brian Bryson and wife Anne of Washington, N.C.; seven great grandchildren, Nicholas K. Powell and wife Ashley N. Powell, Corey L. Powell, Justin T. Powell, Samantha P. McComb and husband James McComb, Jacob D. Carver, Asher Bryson, and Maui Bryson; two great great grandchildren, Sadie A. and Sawyer J. McComb. Virginia was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm , Friday, Dec. 28, followed by funeral services 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 29, in Woodlawn funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. , Norfolk.
