Wayne William Duvall

Mr. Duvall was born in Macon County, NC and was a longtime resident of Norfolk. He retired from Norfolk Public Works after forty years of service. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #335 and a veteran of WW II.

Mr. Duvall was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Lee Duvall, a daughter, Waynelle D. Davis, two brothers, Winton & Clinton Duvall and a sister, Edna D. Swinehart.

Survivors include two sons, Frank William Duvall, Sr. and wife, Kay, David Duvall and wife, Sharon, nine grandchildren, Kenneth, Tommy and Karl Davis, Katie Duvall Embry, Suzanne Duvall Kurtich, Frank Duvall, Jr., Tracey Duvall Edwards, David W. Duvall and Andrea Duvall Erbes, fourteen great grandchildren and a brother, Harry Duvall and wife, Anna, a sister in law, Lucille Harris and husband, Bob.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norview Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
