William "Bill" Edward Temple

William “Bill” Edward Temple, 83, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 in Chesapeake. Bill was born in Elizabeth City, NC to the late Leonard and Lucy Temple. He is also predeceased by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara Temple. After high school Bill served for four years of service to the US Coast Guard. After his active duty service he worked with quality control for Ford Motor Company for over 32 years. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved hunting and was an avid sportsman. Bill is cherished in memory by his sons, David Temple (Kathy) Leonard Temple (Annette) and Mark Temple; daughter, Beverly Gordon; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Bill will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
