He was born November 8, 1922 in Willow, OK to Richard and Adolphina (Gurecky) Strouhal.
After graduating high school, A.C. was thankful to be chosen for job training with the National Youth Administration in Chickasha. Upon completion of the program, he found work as a machinist. But in his words, Uncle Sam had different plans for him. He joined the military and proudly served in the Air Force for 11 years. Later he became an engineer and worked for Collins Radio, a major avionics supplier. He was a hard worker and knew the value of a dollar, and he was also extremely generous and always ready to assist family or others who needed a helping hand. He will be missed by the many people who knew him.
