Ali Moshiri, 91, of Norman passed away Tuesday October 8, 2019 at Grace Living Center with his family by his side.
He was born May 7, 1928 in Abadan, Iran to Mostafa and Atri Moshiri-Esfahani.
Ali was a civil engineer at the National Iranian Oil Company. In 1979 he retired and moved to the U.S. to join his family. In the U.S. Ali owned and operated his own dry cleaning laundromat. He loved to travel and play backgammon.
Left to cherish his family are his wife Ehteram Arabzadeh of Norman, OK and their children: Farzaneh Esfahani and husband Michael Bergey of Norman, OK; Farhad and wife Rosie Moshiri of McKinney, TX; Farzad Esfahani and wife Heather of Boynton Beach, FL; grandchildren: Negin and Neema Allamehzadeh of Brooklyn, NY, Jonah and Cailon Moshiri of McKinney, TX, and Cameron Esfahani of Boynton Beach, FL; and his three siblings.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
