Amanda Idella Boston

Amanda “Mandy” Boston was born on November 30, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Beau Johnson and Arminta Rachel Buckmaster. Mandy passed away in Ardmore on September 29, 2023 at the age of 70 years.

Mandy has resided in Oklahoma all her life and attended Moore High School. Mandy married the love of her life Harold Ray Boston on October 26, 1971 and they spent 35 happy years together until his passing in 2005. Her favorite music was country, gospel and anything Elvis. Her favorite colors were blue and yellow. She enjoyed spending her days fishing and relaxing by the water. She loved her family, her chickens, gardening, her dogs and taking silly pictures. She will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her.

Mandy is survived by her daughters, Rachel Mae Boston of Sulphur and Alyssa Boston of Sulphur; siblings, John Johnson and wife Marylin of Tecumseh, Eldon Johnson and wife Debbie of Montgomery, Texas, Larry Johnson of Tioga, Texas, Robert Laughlin of Port Lavaca, Texas, Angie Moses and husband Oran of Port Lavaca, Texas, Susan Lehosit and husband Mick of Wills Point, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Williams of Wayne, Duke Williams of Wayne; great grandson, Kegan Ray Deilami; fur babies, Buster and Daisy; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Preceding Mandy in death are her parents, Beau and Arminta; spouse, Harold Ray Boston; son, Harold Ray Boston Jr.; sister, Rozella Householder.

A funeral service for Amanda will be held Monday, October 9, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 North Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071.
