Andy Davis

Robert Andrew “Andy” Davis, 81, was born on May 21, 1936 in Norman, Oklahoma to parents Selby and Gertrue (Grizzle) Davis and entered into eternal rest on December 13, 2017. He married LaDonna Cantrell on December 28, 2005. He loved working in the yard and planting flowers; making his and LaDonna’s home beautiful. He operated a successful lawn and landscaping business for many years in Norman before retiring. Andy had a passion for anything outdoors, especially fishing and camping. He was a very smart and talented man that could build or fix anything. He served in the Oklahoma National Guard Reserves and was Christian by faith. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife of 37 years, Maralyn Davis and step granddaughter Candy Spaulding.

He is survived by his wife LaDonna Davis of Gun Barrel City, Texas; son Robert Davis and wife Beverly of Norman, daughter Lisa Byers and fiancé Alan Taylor of Yukon, step-children; Dana Valderas and husband Michael of Gun Barrel City, Texas, Ron Daniels and wife Cathy of Arlington, Texas, and Robin Daniels of Dallas, Texas. Grandchildren; Jake and Samantha, step-grandchildren; Jason and wife Heather, Jessica, Mathew, Jonathan, Jennifer, Jamie and Jason, great-grandchildren; Allie, Cailey, Tatum, Mason, Matilyn, Kaityln and Ransom, brothers; Gene Davis and wife Sherry of Moore, and L.D. Davis and wife List of Norman, sister Denise Davis and husband , Steve Goddard of Norman, numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more friends.
