Barry enjoyed boating, fishing, jet skiing, gardening and keeping their home in spotless condition. He was a lover of animals and always had a dog or two to pamper. To be a dog in the Herr household was to be spoiled by Barry.
In 2013 Barry and Teddi retired from retirement and returned to Norman, OK. Barry is a member of McFarlin Memorial Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening , OU Football and taking the dogs on long walks. He also enjoyed his Sunday conversations with sons Todd and Eric.
