

A prayer service for Mrs. McCracken will be 6:00PM Thursday, December 1, 2011 at St. Charles Borromeo Chapel in the St. Joseph Parish Family Life Center located at 421 E. Acres Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30AM Friday, December 2, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Becky retired after 59 years dedicated service to the nursing profession. She worked for Purcell Hospital, Norman Municipal Hospital, Central State Hospital, St. Anthony’s, and finished her career at Lexington Correctional Facility. She also served the Noble community by sitting on the Noble School Board for 10 years.
She was an active member in the Oklahoma City Quilting Guild, and met every Thursday with a group of friends in Purcell to gossip and quilt.
Becky is preceded in death by her parents Jim and Velma Townsend, and one son Charles Dale McCracken.
She is survived by her husband W.T. (Bill) McCracken of Etowah; three sisters and two brothers; children Tom McCracken of Noble, Joe McCracken of Atlanta, GA, and Cathleen McCracken of Laredo, TX; ten grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Becky was a loving wife and mother and always put others before herself.
