Betty Jean Stibbens

She was born on April 8, 1929 to Joe and Sarah Brockhaus, Norman, Ok.

She married the love of her life, Leroy Stibbens on June 23, 1947. They resided in Norman where they raised two children, Larry and Gayla.

She was a homemaker and loved gardening, fishing, camping and spending time with family.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Sarah Brockhaus, Norman, brother Floyd Brockhaus, Sacramento, CA. husband Leroy Stibbens, of 66 years. Son, Larry Stibbens, of Dallas, TX. Grandson, Shane Harmon, Noble. And Son – N -Law, Timothy Harmon, Noble.

She is survived by her daughter, Gayla Harmon, Noble, 2 granddaughters, Mindy Henson and husband James, Kerry Kosek and husband Bryan, 5 great grandchildren, Kylie, Kayden and Kason Henson, and Kobe and Kyle Kosek all from Noble, and many other numerous relatives.

A Graveside Service will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, 1913 N Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071, US, on August 18, 2026, at 10:00 am.
