Beulah Mae Smith

Beulah Mae was born on August 14, 1920, to Willie Arthur and Pearl Orthea Geller in Verdon, OK. She married Jodie C Smith in Verdon and they were married 42 years before his death on August 3, 1984.

A longtime resident of Norman, Beulah and her husband came to Norman after the Korean Conflict to finish their education at the University of Oklahoma. A renowned piano teacher, Beulah taught in the public schools and in the private sector. Over these many years, she has taught thousands of Norman children all of whom fondly remember her and had often visited.

She was a member of the Goodrich Memorial United Methodist Church.

Beulah Mae is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Drs. Joni and Alan Levinson; grandchildren, Ashley Levinson and Brandon Levinson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 13 at the Primrose Chapel with burial at Norman IOOF Cemetery.
