

Bill, Billie Ray, Uncle Bill, Dad, Daddy, Grandpa and Papa. He was born in Stilwell Oklahoma on November 26, 1941 to Thomas Edward and Maryetta Keys Neff. He lived in Oklahoma all his life. Bill married Sharon Louise Conaway on September 2nd 1960 in Norman Oklahoma. Bill and Sharon were married 55 years this past September. Bill’s father died when he was only four years old. Bill worked hard from the time he was eight years old as a shoe shine boy. Bill and Shirley Sue were the babies of the family. Bill was the “baby boy”. He could do no wrong in his mama’s eyes. Bill left Stilwell at the age of 17 to come to Norman. He attended Barber College in Oklahoma City. Bill started barbering for Mr. Henry Lynn in 1960. He then barbered with Billy Ketchum. He continued barbering till he opened his own shop. Bill has worked at 824 N Porter for the last 50 years. Bill always worked.
He gave his heart to Christ in September of 1964 at First Church in Norman. He worked hard with his enthusiasm and his youth to work for the Lord. Bill was on many boards throughout the years. He was teaching the senior adult class at Lakeside Church of God when he became ill. He fought a good fight and kept the faith.
Bill was preceded in death by: Max Neff, Rozella Brewer, Mary Lou Matheney, Bob Neff, Pauline Grubbs, Shirley Segroves, Tom Neff, Mike Neff, and 6 month old brother Scoffield Neff.
Bill is survived by his wife: Sharon Neff of the home, Four children: Mike and Donna Neff, Mary Neff, Martha and Richie Wolcott, Mark Neff of Norman. Grandchildren: Katie, Will, and George Neff, Trey, Keely, Cameron, and Alexis Wolcott, Mark Edward and Maryanne Neff. Sister: Elizabeth Thomas of Norman. Bill has many surviving nieces and nephews.
Family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday November 23, 2015 at Primrose Funeral Service, 1109 N. Porter Ave. Norman, OK. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday November 24, 2015 at Lakeside Church of God, 4400 Alameda St, Norman, OK 73026. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park and Cemetery. The Rev. Brian Wade and Rev. Kenneth Adams will officiate.
