Billy Michael Price passed away suddenly in Norman, Oklahoma on January 6, 2020 at the age of 72.

Bill was born on December 11, 1947 in Odessa, Texas to Billy Gene Price and Ruth Ell (Stokes) Price. He was the oldest of four boys. Bill graduated from De Leon High School in De Leon, Texas. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1966 and was soon sent to war in Vietnam. He was wounded in combat and awarded the Purple Heart. Bill struggled with PTSD most of his life but was able to find peace in his later years.

In 1972, Bill met the love of his life, Lequita Wagner and they built a life together for 27 years. They remained friends until his death. Bill worked in the oil field and as a machinist most of his working life.

Bill was a kind and generous man with a great sense of humor. His laughter was infectious and he will be missed by all that knew him. He loved nature, animals, watching TV, listening to music, telling tall tales, napping, smoking and Snicker candy bars. He would want everyone to know that he didn’t like fishing. Bill is survived by his daughter, Ragan Kimbro (Jeff) of McLoud, Oklahoma, his son Mike Price of Comanche, Texas, his ex-wife Lequita Price as well as his granddaughters, Shelby Kimbro, Sydney Kimbro, Hunter Russell (Dustin) and Katlyn Price and great grandson Forrest Russell. He was proceeded in death by his beloved mother, his father, his brother Alan and his special dogs Tidbit, Buddy and Gizmo.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Norman Veterans Center for the loving care and kindness shown to Bill over the past three years.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 1 pm in Norman, Oklahoma at the Primrose Funeral Home with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bill’s life. He was my "Mikey" and I was "Aunt Mary". I learned about stealing at the fine old age of 4 yrs by taking a pair of booties from a department store display case for my first newly born nephew. After all, I was told we were getting something to take for new baby Mikey (Billy Michael). WHO KNEW ONE MUST PAY FOR THEM! Always memories of going to see Tarzan that lived in the willows down the road and laughs we shared later in life. I saw your hurt to an innocent and caring soul when you came back after having joined the service and hurt for you not knowing how to help. Never forgot or stopped loving you my first fine nephew even in the tough times so I will see you in Heaven because I knew your heart and I am certain God knew it better. ...save me a spot!
