He was born November 2, 1930 in Memphis, TX to Butler and Irene (Carson) Stewart. He married Wynema Edwards on December 17, 1955 in Borger, TX.
Billy loved all ball games; baseball, football, basketball. He loved to garden and work in his yard. Billy worked for the Texas State Highway Department for 31 years in Wheeler, TX.
Survivors include his son: Billy Edward and wife Rena of Ada; grandson: Jeremy Riddle and wife Gina of Ada; great grandchildren: Jersey Gregory, Brennon Riddle, Jax Riddle, Maizy Riddle; brother: Don Stewart of Amarillo; nieces: Teresa Carson, Beverly Ford of Norman; brother in law: R.C. Edwards and wife Maria of San Francisco.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Wynema; and two children.
