Bobbie Lee Smallwood

July 29, 1930July 26, 2019

Bobbie Lee (Bryant) Smallwood passed from this life in Mustang, Oklahoma on July 26, 2019.

Bobbie was born in Asher, Oklahoma to Howard Taft and Dillah Mae (Sandefur) Bryant on July 29, 1930. She played on the boys’ softball team as a child, because there wasn't a girls’ team in Chigley.

Bobbie graduated from Davis High School in 1948, and shortly after moved to Oklahoma City and began working in the Department of Agriculture. Bobbie then met Doyle and later married him on November 4, 1949. Together they had three children: Terry, Teresa, and Sherry. She would then move into the data entry field and work in management for OU.

Bobbie was a fun, creative woman who enjoyed crocheting Afghans, quilting, sewing, painting, and cooking for her loved ones. She was a devoted member of her church, First Baptist in Moore where she taught Sunday school to 5 year olds for 41 years.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her husband Jefferson Doyle Smallwood, her brothers Delmar Bryant, and Mark Clark, her grandson Dustin Marshall Smallwood, and her son-in-law Ronald Russell.

Left to cherish Bobbie’s memory are her three children: Terry and his wife Renay Smallwood, Teresa Smallwood, Sherry Smallwood-Russell, her grandson Shaun and his wife Asha Smallwood, her great-grandchildren Paige Smallwood and Parker Smallwood, her brother Howard Bo Bryant, and many other beloved friends and family.
