Bobby Joe Anderson

Bobby Joe Anderson, 70, of Norman, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011. He was born June 3, 1940 to Anna Louis (Hoffelter) and Ermil Anderson in Norman. Bob graduated from Norman High School in 1958 and served in the Oklahoma National Guard from 1959 to 1962.

He married Gail Jean Lawson on June 7, 1962 and they spent almost 49 years together. Bob was a salesman for C & L Supply for 10 years. For 30 years he owned and operated an appliance and furniture business in Norman.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Louis (Hoffelter) Anderson and father, Ermil Anderson; his wife, Gail Anderson and brother, Jack Anderson.

He is survived by his sons, Scott Anderson and wife Sara of New Baden, TX and Brett Anderson of Charleston, IL; his mother-in-law, Geneva Lawson of Norman and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Family will receive friends during visitation from 2-4PM on Sunday, May 8, 2011.
