Bruce Alton Billingsley, 67, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

Bruce was born in in Lubbock, Texas on May 22, 1951 to Herschell Billingsley and Elizabeth (Smith) Cantrell.

Bruce served in the United States Navy and Marine Corps. He eventually retired from the United States Navy. Bruce loved spending time with his family and was very proud of his grandchildren. He loved fishing and golfing in his free time. Bruce was a great listener for his friends and loved both the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners.

He was proceeded in death by parents and sisters, Linda Billingsley and Jenny Williamson.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Sherry Billingsley of Norman, OK; children, Dawn Rogers of Chicago, Gary and Ana Billingsley of Miller Grove, TX, Daniel and Jeri Billingsley of Noonan, ND, David Billingsley of Graham, TX, Bre and Chris Wroblewski of Norman, OK; 20 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Wayne Billingsley of Atlanta and Steve Billingsley and Dian of Lone Oak, TX; step-siblings, Larry Cantrell, Wayne and Shari Cantrell, Connie and Marty Helm, Sandy and Dave Rogers; and many more family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Primrose Funeral Service on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 12:00pm-8:00pm. A celebration of Bruce’s life will be held at Primrose Chapel on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 9:00am. Burial will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
