Bruce Evan Sherry

Bruce Evan Sherry passed on September 20, 2026, at the age of 85. He was born on June 24, 1941, to parents Kathryn (Thornton) and Harvard Sherry. Bruce resided in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Navy, a commitment remembered with gratitude and respect.

Bruce is survived by his brother Gene Sherry and wife Margie; brother Larry Sherry; sister Anita (Sherry) Ratliff and husband John; companion Beverly Terry; nurse of 15 years Mary Price; and his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents Kathryn and Harvard; brother David Sherry; brother Keith Sherry; Uncle Mark Sherry and wife Lillian.

A graveside service in Bruce’s honor will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Fort Sill National Cemetery, 2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538, where military honors will be rendered.
