

Carol Lynn Sartori of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 85. She was born on September 8, 1939, in Saginaw, Michigan, to William and Bessie Knapper. Carol obtained her associate's degree in Nursing and worked in various cities throughout her life, including Detroit, Flint, Kansas City, Iowa, and Indiana, before moving to Oklahoma in 2021.
On December 5, 1969, Carol married the love of her life, John Sartori, and they spent 53 years together until his passing in November 2022. Carol was a woman who cherished her family above all else, and her children, grandchildren, and dogs brought her much joy and laughter.
Her perfect day was spent with her grandchildren, enjoying meals, celebrating special occasions, and creating lasting memories. Carol loved playing cards, reading books to the little ones, watching movies, and singing "Amazing Grace" in church. She will be remembered for her compassionate nature, her ability to always put family first, and for teaching her children the importance of kindness, respect, and love.
A member of the Church of Christ, Carol was deeply committed to her faith and always carried herself with grace and dignity. She had a deep love for life and others, never hesitating to lend a helping hand to those in need. She found great comfort in the companionship of her beloved dogs, who would greet her joyfully when she returned home.
Carol is survived by her children, Nicci Sartori of Florida, and John Sartori of Norman, Oklahoma; her five grandchildren, Alee, Avery, Taylor, Calla, and Dante; her brother Jim Knapper and his wife Connie of Michigan; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Bessie Knapper; her husband, John Sartori; and her brother, Jack Knapper.
