Charles L. Trimble Jr., or better known as Chuck, passed away on July 27, 2026, in Norman, Oklahoma. Charles was born November 11, 1940, in Moore, Oklahoma to Charles L. Trimble and Mary Laura Fishburn.
Charles graduated from Norman High School with the Class of 1959 before proudly serving in the Oklahoma Army National Guard. Throughout his life, he called both Norman and Sapulpa home. During his successful career as a salesman specializing in tractors and heavy equipment, one of his proudest professional accomplishments was being named Salesman of the Year by Yellowhouse Machinery Co.
On July 6, 1962, Charles married the love of his life, Jo Ann Boldt. Together they shared 62 wonderful years of marriage, raising their two children, Trey and Erika, until Jo Ann's passing on June 26, 2024.
Charles found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved listening to country music, sharing coffee with friends, spending time with his beloved dachshund, Daphne, admiring John Deere tractors, and, most importantly, being with his family. Above all, Charles would want to be remembered as a loving and caring man whose greatest happiness came from the people he loved and the friendships he cherished.
Charles was a devoted Jehovah's Witness.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jo Ann Trimble; his parents, Charles Trimble and Mary McCoy; and his two brothers, Larry and James.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Charles "Trey" Trimble of Clearfield, Utah; his daughter, Erika Elizabeth Miller and her husband, Brent Miller, of Norman, Oklahoma; his grandson, William "Asher" Taylor and his wife, Andrea; his great-grandchildren, Kallan Taylor and Hallie Taylor; his nephews, Larry Trimble and William "Billy" Trimble; and, perhaps most faithfully of all, his cherished dachshund, Daphne.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Primrose Funeral Service, 3901 N. Flood Avenue, Norman, Oklahoma 73069. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at IOOF Cemetery, 1913 N. Porter Avenue, Norman, Oklahoma 73071. Family and friends are invited to join the family for a reception immediately following the service at Primrose Funeral Service.
