He was born December 7, 1946 in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Walter and Cordelia Perry. In May 1973 he married Berta Roberson at the Wesley Chapel in Norman.
Chet served his country in the United States Air Force in Vietnam. He was a big fan of OU Sooner sports, New York Giants, basketball, and playing golf. He loved to work in his yard and travel especially to Alaska and Australia. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years Berta of Norman; brother: Fred Perry of Mooresville, N.C. and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: William Perry.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday January 18, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Chapel, 421 E. Acres, Norman, OK. Deacon Jeff will officiate. Military Honors will be rendered.
