

Colin Cartwright Caldwell passed quietly away May 22,2012. Born July 26,1982 in Norman, Oklahoma to joyful parents Cheri Denise Cartwright and Lytle C. Caldwell Jr. As a lifetime resident of Norman, he attended Norman North High School and Rose State College. Among his greatest passions: music, and sports both which he pursued with great heart. He was a star baseball player for many years. He also greatly enjoyed golf and especially surfing. An avid OU football fan from an early age, who rarely missed a game. Colin made friends easily and was compassionate, kind and generous to a fault. All who knew him were made better because of him. He was an ardent Democrat and free sprit. He loved animals, friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents, Don and Janet Cartwright, Lytle C. Caldwell Sr.
He is survived by his father; brother Adam Caldwell; sister Jennifer Holland (Atkinson) and husband Major Todd Holland; niece Savannah Grace Holland; nephew Trevor Holland; grandmother Kathryn Caldwell; extended family Donna Cartwright, Steve Smith, Kristyn Smith, David Cartwright, Debbie Cartwright, Don Cartwright, Matt Cartwright, Leo Cartwright, Melinda Evens, Mike Evens, Jessica Pool, Chris Pool, Noah Pool, Luka Pool, Mercer Pool, Derek Mabie, Kristel Mabie, Landon Mabie, Amelia Mabie, Janet Bronczyk, Dale Bronczyk, Brett Bronczyk and Taylor Bronczyk.
