Daniel Tom Lucas

Daniel was born on February 5, 1959 in Fairbanks, Alaska to Tom and Jeanelle Vaught Lucas.

Daniel is part of Norman High School’s graduating class of 1977. After high school, Daniel went on to attend the University of Oklahoma. Daniel had many jobs in his lifetime including construction, restaurant management, catering, and real estate, but his greatest joy in life was raising his two children Jack and Kate Lucas.

In Daniel’s free time, he loved listening to music, cheering on OU football, watching movies, writing, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father Tom Lucas and sister Rebecca Lucas. Those left to cherish Daniel’s memory are his children Kate Lucas of Spring, Texas and Jack Lucas of Redlands, California; mother, Jeanelle Lucas of Norman, Oklahoma; brother Stephen Lucas of Panama City Beach, Florida; sister Laura Eldridge of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 4 nieces and 4 nephews; and a host of friends and extended family.

Daniel was an incredibly loving father, son, brother and friend to all during his lifetime. He will be missed forever.

A memorial will be held on August 4, 2023 at 2 PM at Primrose Funeral Service located at 1109 N Porter Ave., Norman, OK, 73071.
