Deborah May Taylor

Deborah was raised in Oklahoma City alongside her three brothers, Charles, Mark, and Craig, and graduated with the Putnam City High School Class of 1968. On May 10, 1983, she married Robert Taylor, and in that union Robert gained a bonus daughter, Sherri. To her grandchildren, she was lovingly known as MaMa—a name that reflected the steady devotion and care she brought to family life.

Deborah worked for over a decade with Southwestern Belle before choosing to stay home to raise her children and devote herself fully to her role as a homemaker. In every season of life, she carried herself with a gracious spirit and a thoughtful attention to the people and places she loved.

She found joy in the details that made life bright—makeup and bling, time spent in her flower beds, and traveling to visit family. She also valued community and service, including her leadership with Switch at Life.Church and her work supporting trafficked women. She especially treasured time shared with Robert, including riding motorcycles together and the many miles that brought them new memories.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter Sherri Johnson and husband Gary; son Robert Taylor II and Danielle Wilson; daughter Tara Casillas and husband Jeff; daughter Rachel Manuel and husband Brian; 11 grandchildren, Cameron and Trevor Fitzgerald, Chloe Tayler, Conner and Cooper Wilson, Isabella, Andrew Carter and Issac Casillas, Ezra Andrews, and Axle Manuel; four great-grandchildren, Thatcher, Emmerich, Claire, and Conner; and brothers Charles Divelbiss and wife Julie, and Mark Divelbiss and wife Kathy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Iva (Rogers) and Charles Divelbiss, and her brother, Craig Divelbiss.

Visitation will be held at Primrose Funeral Service, 3901 N Flood Ave., Norman, OK 73069, on September 11, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Generations Church, 2524 W Noble Ave, Guthrie, OK 73044, on September 14, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
